After studying illustration and animation (at St luc institute in Tournai then at l'ESAAT in Roubaix), Jérémy Depuydt directs his own first short film in 2004, "Il pleut bergère" (Les Films du Nord, Arnaud Demuynck).
From then, he's working as a 2D/3D animator on TV projects such as "Tomtom & Nana" ( 2 minutes for France 3), "Shuriken School" (Xilam for France 3), "Ovni" season 1 & 2 (Blue spirit for Canal+), "Samsam" (Blue spirit for France 5) or "Boyster" (Je suis Bien content for Disney XD). At the same time he develops his direction's skills by making animated institutional and commercial videos as a freelance as well as illustrations.
He then teaches animation at Esa-St-Luc (Brussels).
With this background, he decides to go back to direction by making the multy-awarded animation short "Pina" in collaboration with Giuseppe Accardo (Punchline Cinema, Next Days Films).
The film has also been nominated to the 51th Annie Awards.
Jérémy is now working on his next animation short called " The Nature of Things".
